CHEERS to the 11 people who took the time to publicly speak out about the gerrymandered “horseshoe” (aka proposed Senate District 15) Friday. They formally voiced their opposition at a legislative hearing. In the words of Harrisburg city councilwoman Patty Kim, “This isn’t ‘Survivor Island, Redistricting Edition.’¤” Let’s hope the mapmakers got the message.
