Bulk pickup needed

Councilwoman Patty Kim has made a very succinct case for why and how the bulk pickup program should be revived. (“Let’s not waver on needed pickups,” commentary, Jan. 7)

To me, it was a compelling argument and deserves the full support of all inner-city neighborhoods. The first to suffer when there is a budget problem are neighborhood services. As suggested by Councilwoman Kim, “We need more collaboration and less fighting.”
